WOLF + NOMAD
The path of this work has been special.
When life places in my hands the task of weaving the story of two human beings, every bit of me is set in motion.
And with time, through readings, images, and silences, the story, little by little, begins to reveal itself.
Here, in your hands and in your eyes, lies a “whole” work. It is not two. It is body and soul. The physical and the subtle.
And that dual nature is, perhaps, the most beautiful and unique aspect of this story. It was not planned, nor was it made with that purpose… it simply had to be this way. Like any body that, naturally and in silence, needs its spirit in order to come to life.
Or the other way around.
The representation unfolds as follows:
The wolf is stability, fertile ground. Tireless and intuitive, strong. It is the safe and loyal place where a nomad finally decides to take root. At the same time, the wolf allows the nomad to remain in motion: it accompanies him, he is his vehicle. That is why he is represented walking, in action. Yet, in the thread of what is subtle, the paws are firm, well planted. This shows how the wolf is, and gives in his essence, everything the nomad longs for in life.
The rose in the wolf’s mouth symbolizes a great power: the force of turning what is “wild” into beauty and delicacy. His fangs are tamed: they become a stem that blossoms into a flower.
The nomad carries his story, his home, his life, and his knowledge. His journey leads him to turn the heart into his greatest power. With that red point at the center, he transforms the word house into home. The nomad is an architect of the ethereal. He believes every path leads to the perfect place. He carries, yet does not weigh down: and it is exactly this that makes him wise.
He is the precise temperature: there is no home without that which makes it habitable.
The black wolf is the ground upon which the house rises, and the nomad is the lamplighter, the one who kindles the light. Within that house lives an entire universe. And in the intimacy of the home, in the shared dance, they return to themselves. There too is revealed a powerful coincidence, a unique astrological symmetry: what the wolf has in his Sun —Leo, represented by his symbol and star, the nomad has in his Ascendant, as a spur of the same light. And what the nomad has in his Sun —Libra, represented in balance as a vessel upon the head, the wolf carries in his feet, balanced on his circus ball.
That astrological coincidence is a surprise, almost a perfect mirror. Each carries the other within their chart: what one has as a Sun,their deepest essence, the other has as an Ascendant, the way they are seen and expressed in the world. And vice versa.
That symmetry is a dance of reflections: what one projects is what the other truly is at their center. It speaks of a magnetic attunement, where what each admires in the other is, in truth, part of themselves. They look at each other and recognize themselves in a powerful resonance.
When this scene was defined and woven, I understood the importance of what Simón had shared with me about constellations and astrology in this story: the stars. Although they were already represented in the center—within the house and with all its symbolism, while exploring the constellations I discovered a spark: they themselves traced the scene of the wolf and the house. Thus, on the back of the piece, in a more intimate and reserved way, the soul remains inscribed: the scene that continues inside that house, everyday and full of love, harmony, and peace. There the rose rests in the vase, and the balance between them is quietly present. It is the same work, only told in the language of stars.
Uma. Always with you.
Wolf and Nomad is a home with its lights perfectly lit on earth and in the sky.
Thank you.
Pajarito.
