Taller H1JA is in the hands of: Alejandra Jaramillo (Pájara)

Born in Bogotá and currently based in Cali, Colombia, Alejandra Jaramillo works across textiles, illustration, and symbolic narrative. Her practice moves through delicate emotional territories, building visual worlds where intimacy, memory, fragility, and transformation quietly coexist.

Working primarily with fabric, thread, paper, and found materials, her pieces explore the hidden emotional structures that shape human experience. Each work becomes a subtle constellation of symbols, gestures, and silences, inviting the viewer into a slower and more contemplative encounter.

Rather than offering fixed meanings, her work leaves space for personal interpretation, allowing emotion, intuition, and memory to become part of the piece itself.

Through Taller H1JA, Alejandra develops an artistic language rooted in softness, symbolism, and emotional depth, where the handmade becomes both archive and presence.
