THE BIRD

A life shaped by the bird is a life of elevation, light, intuitive, in search of freedom and a broader perspective. It lives in height, seeing from a different vantage point, sensing currents others don’t notice. But within that same freedom lies its risk: losing weight, losing direction, drifting too far from what holds it. The fall here isn’t physical, but a loss of meaning. The work doesn’t correct this impulse, it gently anchors it: the figure becomes a kite, held by a subtle thread that ties her to the ground. The flight remains, but now it knows where to return.
